Cup Tie Starts With A BANG

As Both Sides Sparkle Within The First 5Mins

This was the 2nd time this season we had drawn a Div3 side in the cup, we made a good account of ourselves then, and the team once again showed we were becoming a team unit.

With Terry saying pride, passion, belief as we kicked off, I had a terrible thought that could come back to haunt us, as Shadwell scored in the first 3mins, I must admit I wasn't optimistic about the outcome of today's game.

Craig up front got his first goal for the club, about 2mins after Shadwell had scored.  Then Paul White took us into the lead with his first goal since Feb '04.

We have now had 7 different goal scorers this season already (yeah I know one was an own goal, but...)

HALF TIME 2-2

2nd half we tired as a team, but with only 1 sub, the manager wanted to leave it as long as poss before making the sub, as he didn't want anyone to get injured so we'd go down to 10men.

Assistant Mark sub'd himself with 5mins to go, the game was already lost at 4-2.

Again we battled with a team from Div3 and we hadn't rolled over what so ever.
