- No one told me
that sleepless nights were part of managing a Sunday morning football team, I've
had two already and we've only had one game!

- When I got up
this morning I was only about half as stressed as I was last week, Neil and
Jason can tell you how panicked I was opening Sunday.

- But today was
different, I knew we were light of some players, as Rob had taken Rich and Vesey,
but with David the keeper, Woody and Spins brother - we were going to OK.
Well, Sundays as I have found out already don't run smoothly! Woody, Spins Broth
no shows (to be fair spins brother only was asked to help out on sat
night). Then I had a text from Steve saying how he was too drunk to drive
- that was to be expected, he had already warned me in the week.

- So down to 10,
3-4-2, 4-4-1, 4-3-2 formation? Starting line up is not how we
finished, I myself played in 3 different positions, in the first half! I'm
not that versatile - I'm just a runner filling in holes. Not sure who made
the decision but Mike and Paul swapped and that seamed to help.

- We found ourselves
5-Nil down in 18min's, an og, deflected shot and a pen within those 5
goals. Our heads didn't drop, as always with 10 - everyone puts it
in. we were all in this together.

- HALF TIME: which
seamed to take an age to come, what with 10 and playing in that heat - we had
held off Real to the Five, which as I've said they scored in 18mins.
- Obviously you
could tell we hadn't played together, but we were doing Ok, Spins before the
game had predicted the worst result ever for the Argonauts for today's game.
- The Ref was one
of Real Bristol's players, they had lot's of sub's and offered the ref to us to
make us up to 11 men, he went up front with spins.
- Surprisingly
everyone was positive at half time, as for the last 27mins of the half we
contained them and even had chances.

HALF:
- Again after 18
mins Real had scored twice, we continued to battle on, and the Ref playing for
us scored in the last 5 minutes of the game.
- The game ended
7-1, everyone put it in and MOM was a tough choices, as all the players played
their part, 3 players got votes J, Mike and Ian, who won MON with 6 votes.
