Newcomers Stoke Lane Athletic won their first ever Gilbert Pullin Memorial Cup tie 1- 0 at Longwell Green Sports thanks to Nick Weeks. Sportsmans notched a comfortable 4- 0 win over Breakaways with a hat trick from Geoff Clee and one from Darryl Kingsbury. The 3 Lions won 5- 1 at DKL Athletic thanks to Gary Silverthorne 2, Kevin Taylor, Andy Perrett and Luke Quirke. Matt Lane replied for the hosts. Nicholas Wanderers Res. were 2- 0 winners against Stapleton Sunday with Ollie Nicholls and Phil Williams on target. Mo Carroway from the penalty spot, and Michak O’Connor gave Mangotsfield a narrow 2- 1 passage past Shadwell Rovers. Ryan Parsons and Adam Beaulieu notched doubles, and there was one each for Danny Norley and Kevin Sandall as A1 Sports & Performance drubbed The Argonauts 6- 1. Tom Sparks notched a consolation goal for home side. Banjo Rovers won 3- 1 at BAWA Athletic thanks to strikes by Jordan Richards, Tom Morgan and Jason Side, with Nick Bowering netting for BAWA. Simon Miller’s goal was not enough for Quba Ice who lost 2- 1 at home to LFB Utd who won thanks to Nick Motlow’s brace. Dean Gingell led Bamfield Sports to victory over Quayside with four of the goals in a 5- 2 victory. Mike Messiah added the other goal. Real Bristol notched a convincing 4- 0 win at The Castle, on target were Ben Palmer, David Thompson, Ashley Nixon and an own goal. Fishponds OB thrashed Blackhorse Boys 11- 0, their goals coming from Darren Coole and Joe Dykes with a hat trick each, Tristan Ferguson 2, Sam Griffin, Josh Sergeant, and Dan Houghton. Chris Found 2, Craig Perry and Donald Bowden gave Lloyd Utd their 4- 0 success against The Argonauts Res. Nicholas Wanderers Res. won 2- 1 at home to Double- o- Two with strikes by Kieran Maloney and an own goal. Malcolm Moody and Alan Curtis scored twice apiece to send City Darts through 4- 0 at Bemmy Down.
