- After two very close
games, both ending 1-0 (one in our favour, one against) the game against
top of the table was always going to be a tough test, but a good
one. Unfortunately the game will always be remembered for two
childish acts of stupidity.

- After a hard first half
where we allowed BAWA's midfield to dictate the game, we were trying hard
to fight back, after making a sub to try and sure up the midfield after
the instructions at half time fell on deaf ears, we started to
attack. Curly got his customarily goal and at 3-1 (ht 3-0 down) BAWA
had a little panic in their defence.

- Then with Craig just
inside the box, his cross seemed to strike the arm of a BAWA
defender. The appeals for a Pen were turned down by the Ref and BAWA
cleared. Then what followed will be remembered by those who were
there as a black day in The Argonauts history. For all the players
The Argonauts have had in our now 9 seasons we have never condoned
fighting in any way. Two players from the Argonauts sent off for
fighting each other.

- We finished the game with
9 men and conceded one more goal. We lose 4-1 and with the team
split on what had just gone on.
